Recruiting the ideal IT candidate can be challenging! This is what I found until Spectrum IT provided a first-class service, finding candidates with the relevant skills and experience for an office-based location. In addition, it was important to the business to find the right personality. Spectrum IT listened to CPG’s values and culture, and succeeded in filling our IT vacancies.
Overview
CPG came to Spectrum IT after finding it hard to fill essential positions within their business. They had been recruiting for two key IT roles for over a month, using multiple different low-fee agencies. The biggest challenges included finding people who were local enough, happy to be office based five days a week and having the necessary skillset for the roles.
Working with a specialised recruitment agency can make a huge difference to the hiring experience, as we proved when we took on CPG as a client. We began working with them in late September 2023, tapping into our vast, localised talent pool to find suitable candidates who would be a good fit for the company. Within two weeks, we had filled one of those roles, followed by a more senior position IT Infrastructure Lead less than a week later.
Based on our overwhelming success with these initial hires, CPG reached out to us again when they needed to recruit an IT Solutions Manager, this time opting to engage with our services on an exclusive basis. Within a couple of weeks, we were able to present four local candidates, from which three interviews were arranged, and a hire was made quickly after.
